Overview
This is the capstone course for the B.Comp degree providing students with
the opportunity to explore the application of computing science to their area
of emphasis. Students will research and develop presentations pertaining to
the field of computing as applied to their academic area of emphasis and
present these findings to the class in a seminar format. The development of
seminar presentations encourages students to consider the interaction of their
two academic disciplines in greater depth while the presentations themselves
permit the refinement of oral presentation skills.
Students taking this course should be in semester seven or eight of the
Bachelor of Computing (B.Comp) program, and have completed 2.50 credits
in an area of application.
See
